If your warranty is void because of physical damage to your phone, getting it repaired with us will mean your warranty is renewed – terms and conditions apply.

It's possible. We try to retain data where we can but sometimes it may be lost. We recommend that you back-up your handset before going to the store.

Here's how:
Backup your smartphone content and contacts to your computer. Find out how here and search for your handset. You can also backup your contacts using the Backup+ app.
Remove any memory cards from the handset.
If the repair is related to a charging or battery issue, please bring the charger along with the handset.

Repairs will be completed within two hours, depending on whether parts are available and the complexity of the repair. You will be notified of any delay.

Tracking your repair is really easy. Just follow these simple steps:

Find your IMEI number

You need this number in order to track your repair online. You will find your IMEI number on the repair docket you received when you left your phone in for repair.

Go to Fonfix website and enter IMEI

Go to Fónfix's website (this link will open a new window on your browser). Type in your IMEI number and click “Check Status”. If your repair has been logged, details of your repair will appear on screen.

Smartphone
If your phone is still under warranty, Fónfix will repair it and return it to you, both free of charge. Currently most manufacturers give a 24 month warranty.

Before you send it for repair
  -1) Backup your smartphone’s content and contacts to your computer. Find out how here and search for your handset. You can also backup your contacts using the Backup+ app.

  -3) If the repair is related to a charging or battery issue please send the charger along with the handset.

iPhone
Follow these steps to disable the "Find My iPhone" function on iOS 7 devices: Apple have introduced a new process for iPhones requiring repair. Please be advised this is under a 12 month warranty and if you have a fault with your iPhone device you must ensure that the “Find My Phone” option is disabled before returning it to Vodafone. Failure to do so will result in your phone being returned unrepaired.

Option 1: Turn off “Find My iPhone” (where your iPhone can be powered on)
  -Go to Settings > iCloud
  -Turn off “Find My iPhone”

Option 2: Remove your iPhone from your account at iCloud.com (if you iPhone cannot be powered on)
  -Sign in to your account with your Apple ID
  -Select the iPhone that needs to be removed from the account
  -If the iPhone is offline, click Remove from Account
  -If the iPhone is online, click Erase. When the erase is complete, click Remove from Account

Please note that your Apple ID password will be required with each option.

Feature Phone
Before you send it for repair If your phone is still under warranty, Fónfix will repair it and return it to you, both free of charge. Currently most manufacturers give a 24 month warranty but a 12 month warranty period applies to iPhones only.

  -1) You should backup your content (Pictures, ringtones etc.) onto a memory card and backup your contacts onto your sim card. Find out how at http://deviceguides.vodafone.ie/web/ and search for your handset.
  -2) If the repair is related to a charging or battery issue please send the charger along with the handset.

Getting your phone fixed
If you are still experiencing problems with your mobile phone, we recommend you return it as soon as possible to the agent where you bought it for further advice.
